The 2025 Global Green Development Summit (GGDS) will be held at Stanford University on Saturday, August 2, 2025.

The theme of the Summit: Energy Transition and Innovation for Carbon Neutrality

The 2025 GGDS will invite distinguished professors, top executives, leading industry experts and professionals from well-known universities, energy companies, utilities, technology solution providers, government, and investment companies. The conference will feature discussions with our honored speakers with a shared goal of fighting the climate crisis, accelerating energy transition and decarbonization. 

The 2025 GGDS exciting programs include keynote speeches and nine panel sessions with over eighty significant speakers. The roundtable panels will run in parallel at two conference rooms. The hot topics include how to build Green Low Carbon Communities, Distributed Renewables Energy and Storage, AI for Green Energy, Innovation and Investment for Green Finance, Transportation Decarbonization, Quality Manegement, Women and Young Professionals Forum for Entrepreneurship & Leadership.

2025GGDS Student Poster Competition​
​Call for Student Posters

1)Important Dates

  • Submission of Student Posters Abstracts: May 15, 2025   

  • Notification of acceptance: June 15, 2025

  • Submission of camera-ready posters and receipts of the registration fee: July 15, 2025

  • All the accepted conference posters will be scheduled for a student poster session and contest on August 1st, 2025, 2-5 PM, Silicon Valley, California, USA.

  • The 2025 GGDS will hold an award ceremony of the Student Poster Competition on August 2cd, 2025 (Saturday), Stanford University.

Note: 

a) Each student can submit one poster. The students are included in the undergraduate and graduate student categories.

b) Authors may submit posters for work that has been published in journals or presented at other scientific meetings.

c) Authors must submit their posters electronically in PDF format to email address:ggds2025poster@gmail.com

2)College Students are invited to submit posters (summary of academic papers) on their innovative research and application experience related to the fields of Energy Innovation and Green-Low Carbon, including:

  • Distributed Energy Resources

  • Connected Utilities & Infrastructure

  • Utility of the Future Business Models

  • Business Intelligence and Data Management 

  • Microgrids

  • Transactive Energy & Blockchain

  • Virtual Power Plants (VPP)

  • Enabling Grid Edge Technologies 

  • ADMS/DERMS (DERMS is a software platform that is used to organize the operation of the aggregated DER within a power grid.)

  • Metering, Monitoring & Measurement 

  • AI for Clean Energy

  • AI for Healthcare

3)Student Poster Competition Awards

  • One Outstanding Award: $600 USD

  • Two First Awards: $450 USD each

  • Five Second Awards: $300 USD each
