Dr. Jessica Bian

Dr. Jessica Bian, Chairman of IEEE Electric Power and Energy Society (IEEE PES). As a visionary leader and architect, she led the formulation of reliability indicators and grid risk assessments for the power industry. She is currently the vice president of grid services at Grid-X Partners and previously worked for the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) and North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC). Dr. Bian led the establishment of 18 industry-wide reliability indicators to determine the reliability, sufficiency and related risks of the power grid. She is recognized as a pioneer and trustworthy leader in this field.
