Welcome to the "Healthy World Green Development" Webinar Series No.66, “the Future Grid - Impacts of EV Charging and Renewable Energy,” hosted by the Global Green Development Alliance (GLODDA). We will deeply discuss the smart transportation-electric vehicles for carbon neutrality to promote power grid reform and renewable energy. How to reduce the dependence on imported oil and natural gas? The keynote speaker, Dr. Daniel Kammen, Academician of American Academy of Arts and Sciences, and Professor of the University of California, Berkeley. The speaker for opening remarks is Dr. Peng Fang, Co-Chair of Global Green Development Alliance and Board of Directors, Investment Advisor of WALDEN International. The guest speaker is Dr. Dunnan Liu, who is a professor at North China Electric Power University and director of the Energy Internet Research Center. In this webinar we will talk about the impact of EV charging and renewable energy on the future grids. The hosts of this meeting will be Dr. Xiaofeng Zhang (president of GLOGDA) and Dr. Qin Wang (VP of GLOGDA).

He obtained his BS, MS, and Ph.D. from Tsinghua University, and completed his postdoctoral research under the guidance of academician Qiang Lu. He is an expert in power market and power dispatching, a member of State Key Laboratory of new energy power system, a member of the drafting group of action guidance on energy Internet, and a member of the drafting group for the interpretation of the new power reform of the national energy administration.
