"Young Entrepreneurship and Leadership"
To celebrate the anniversary of GLOGDA Young Professionals, GLOGDA will host the Second Special Forum for Young Professionals: “Young Entrepreneurship and Leadership”. The integrations of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship become hot topics among the young generation. This forum will bring prestigious guests and young professionals globally to share their visions and experience. The forum invited Professor Yi Cui, Director of the Precourt Institute for Energy and Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Stanford University; a Member of the National Academy of Science(NAS); Chief Advisor of GLOGDA. The keynote speakers are two young entrepreneurs, Dr. Wenbo Shi, the Founder of Singularity Energy, Ph.D. from UCLA, and Dr. Jingfan Wang, the Business Lead of Innovation and Research at Flexiv Ltd., Ph.D. from Stanford University. During the part two of the forum, 12 Young Professionals from GLOGDA will share their experience and discuss new ideas with forum participants.

Professor Yi Cui
GLOGDA advisor
Professor Yi Cui is a member of the National Academy of Sciences, Director of the Precourt Institute for Energy, and Professor of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, Stanford University. He is a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (2020), Materials Research Society (2016), Electrochemical Society (2018), and the Royal Society of Chemistry (2015). He specializes in nanotechnology and energy and environment-related research. He currently serves as the Executive Editor of Nano Letters from ACS Publications and was the Co-Director of the Bay Area Photovoltaics Consortium (funded $25 million by the U.S. Department of Energy) and the Battery500 Consortium ( received $50 million investment). Amprius Technologies, focusing on silicon-anode battery manufacture, was founded by Professor Yi Cui and is to go public in $1.3 Billion SPAC Merger. EnerVenue, launched by him, has raised $112 Million to boost the development of its nickel-hydrogen batteries. Prof. Yi Cui is a Chief Advisor of GLOGDA.

Dr. Wenbo Shi

Dr. Shi is the CEO/Founder of Singularity Energy, which provides high-quality, time and location-based grid emissions data, and a suite of innovative products such as developer APIs, and intelligent tools for grid operators, utilities, companies, and service providers to build data-driven decarbonization solutions.
Before founding Singularity, Wenbo was a postdoctoral researcher at Harvard University researching Smart Grid technology and management, where he published more than 20 peer-reviewed papers which received over 1,000 citations. Two of his journal papers were ranked among the most popular articles on IEEE. He received his PhD from UCLA in 2015.
Dr. Jingfan Wang

Dr. Jingfan Wang is the Business Partner and Business Lead of Innovation and Research of Flexiv Robotics. FLEXIV is a global leading general-purpose robotics company, focusing on developing and manufacturing adaptive robots which integrate industrial-grade force control, computer vision and AI technologies. Dr. Wang holds a Ph.D. degree from Stanford University and a certificate in Innovation and Entrepreneur from Graduate School of Business at Stanford University. He has won several awards and honors, including the 7th China International "Internet +" University Student Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition Finals 3rd place (news coverage by Xinwen Lianbo), Forbes China 30 Under 30, Global Shaper at World Economic Forum.
